I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

John 15:5 (NIV)

Keep your mind and heart on Jesus.

Learn to value the truth and reality of your oneness in Christ.

Knowing that He is in us, and we are in Him enables us to rest on His life to be faithful and fruitful. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own, neither can we bear fruit by our own effort or strength. We can only enjoy great fruitfulness and bring glory to God if we remain in Christ through faith.

The Christian life is about living in Christ and living with Christ and living for Christ.

You are complete in Christ because His presence and power live in and through you. When you surrender to His grace and continue to receive it, He will transform you into a faithful and fruitful witness for His name’s sake. You can place your trust in Him to create and consecrate you as a new and living sanctuary (1 Corinthians 6:19, Romans 12:1), where His indwelling Spirit will empower you to lead others to Him.

The oneness we enjoy in Christ is the work of God’s amazing grace. The life of being united in Christ is a one of intimate friendship, love, and communion—where we are invited to the perichoresis dance of the Trinity. It is in this divine circle dance of love that we discover how each of the divine persons of the Godhead is involved in our spiritual growth, maturity, and progress.

The eternal and self-giving love within the relationship of the Trinity is communicated to us and experienced by us through our oneness and participation in the divine life that already dwells within us. As we receive, we give. The understanding is that we cannot truly enjoy God’s love until we love Him back, and the way we love God is by loving others as He loves us.
