Our gracious Father continues to provide us with His grace to meet all of our needs.
Not just once or twice, but every time a challenge or circumstance arises. In Psalm 23:6, David sang, "So why would I fear the future? For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life." The Hebrew word for “pursue” is radaph which literally means “to hunt down, to chase after someone in order to catch”.
Aren't you glad you'll never outrun God's grace?
By holding on to this revelation, we are liberated from the fear of moving forward in faith.
Many believers are paralysed in their decision-making because they are afraid of being out of God's will. God's grace is not only ahead of you, but also behind you, catching you if you fall and helping you in getting back on track in every step of life's journey. Even if you are currently in your darkest hour, God's grace will seek you out and bring you back.
Furthermore, God's grace does not come in portions, but rather in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus, as the personification of grace, is always with us, even to the end of the age(Matthew 28:20). In other words, there is no place or circumstance where the fullness of God's grace in Christ is not present—for He came to seek —for He came to seek that which is lost and scattered.
Christ's perfect love for you is objectively true. You can rely on Him and His faithfulness to see you through, even if you don't feel or sense His presence.
Allowing your emotions to dictate your faith in God will result in a shallow and shaky relationship with Him. Instead, let the truth of God's grace, as revealed in Jesus Christ's gospel, empower you to rise above every contradictory thought and feeling, as well as every difficult obstacle.
