Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.
Isaiah 64:8(NIV)
Be willing and yielding as God shapes you into the image of His Son, as clay in the hands of a potter. There is no need to fear or lose hope if you truly learn to trust God for what He is doing in your life because you are being transformed into a masterpiece with the most beautiful story to tell.
You are unique. A stand-alone and not mass-produced, beautifully and wonderfully made for relationship with God. This relationship is initiated and sustained by God. When Adam and Eve fell, God made the first move to mend their broken friendship, and He has continued to do so ever since. God does so because He knows we will never be able to bridge the gap between us and Him, which is why "He made Him who knows no sin to be sin for us” 2 Corinthians 5:21).
You are perfectly well-crafted in Christ's righteousness.
There is no need for further speculation or wild imagination about how God sees or feels about you. You don't have to be concerned about making a good first impression because God accepts you regardless of your outward appearance or ability.
By transforming you into a new creation in Christ, God has made you a suitable vessel for His divine life to overflow from you and into the lives of others. To put it another way, you are not made to live a dull and superficial life. Instead, because His presence and power are in you, you are now God's refreshing and passion wherever and with whomever you are.
In making you a new creation in Christ, God has turned you into a fitting vessel where He can fill you to the brim with His divine life so that it overflows from you and out into the lives of others. In other words, you are forever ruined from living a boring and superficial life. Instead, you are now the refreshing and passion of God wherever you are and whoever you are with—for both His presence and power is in you.
An unappreciative and unbelieving heart is perhaps the worst enemy that keeps any of us from enjoying this life in Christ. Such an attitude and habit will prevent you from enjoying what God has given you. As such, cultivate a thankful heart and walk in the truth of your identity, and you will learn to live a life that brings the most glory to God.
