Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18-19

If you want God to lead you into a new season, you must let go of what you know and make way for Him to move in your life. When it comes to change and transitions, the most difficult thing for you is to remain focused and not become stressed out by the unknown or the unexpected.

The Prophet Isaiah tells us not to remember the past. Do not get mired in old habits and patterns of thinking. Fight the temptation to revert to the familiar and comfortable habits of the past. Rather, rest in God's hands so that He might lead you to greater things than you could possibly conceive. Even if God's purpose is beyond your imagination, rest assured that it will always be for your good and His glory.

God wants to do something new in your life. The Hebrew term for "new thing" is chadash, which means "rebuild, renew, repair, and restore". God's grace is not hindered by past mistakes, sins, or disappointments. God has the power to transform everything into something beautiful. Right now, what do you hope God will restore to you, your family, and your church community? What new things are you hoping for in the upcoming season?

When you are willing to enter God's new season for your life, you will encounter His extraordinary providence and provision. May it go beyond your wildest imagination. God has already promised to make "a road in the wilderness" and "rivers in the desert" specifically for you!
