Our kind and generous Father will always provide to meet all of our needs. Not just on one or two occasions, but every time when a crisis or challenge arises
In Psalm 23:6, David sang, "So why would I fear the future? For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life."
The Hebrew word for “pursue” is radaph which literally means “to hunt down, to chase after someone in order to catch”.
Aren't you glad you'll never outrun God's grace?
By holding on to this revelation, we are freed from the fear of moving forward.
Many believers are worried to the point of being paralysed in their decision-making because they are afraid of being out of God's will. God's grace is not only ahead of you, but also behind you, catching you if you stumble and helping you in getting back on track in every step of life's journey. Even if you are now going through the darkest period of your life, God's grace will seek you out and bring you back.
What's more, God's grace does not come in portions, but in the fullness of the Person of Jesus Christ. Jesus, as the personification of grace, is always with us, even until the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). In other words, there is no place or circumstance where the fullness of God's grace in Christ is not present—for He came to seek that which is lost and scattered.
Christ's perfect love for you is objectively real. You can rest in Him and His faithfulness to see you through—even if you don't feel Him or sense His presence.
Allowing your feelings to determine your trust in God will lead to a superficial faith. Rather, let the truth and power of God's grace, as revealed in the gospel, catch hold of you so that you can rise above every contradicting thought and feeling, as well as every challenging obstacle to become everything God made you to be in Christ.
