For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.

Titus 2:11-14 (ESV)

Nothing is more important to your Christian life than the gospel.

The gospel is free and freeing because of God’s grace. To put it another way, the same grace that justifies us is the same grace that sanctifies us. It is through grace that we are called to be different and to live differently.

You have a faulty understanding of grace if you think grace encourages people to sin without restraint or repercussions.

The Apostle Paul tells us grace is the person of Jesus Christ, and His indwelling Spirit of grace is our best teacher to train us to live in a godly manner. We can never emphasise enough how crucial it is to receive and spread the gospel of grace. Grace is God’s power of salvation to save us from sinful living and wrongdoings.

Unfortunately, a lot of believers don't fully appreciate God's grace, which keeps them from enjoying God as much as they should. They tend to think that while grace saves them, the law sanctifies them. Because of their mindset and attitude, they replaced grace with law-based teaching and living and suffered in condemnation. If we could fulfil the requirements of the law perfectly, God would not have provided us with a new covenant in order for Christ's righteousness in us to produce a holy life.

God's grace in us always works on our new nature and identity in Christ so that we may live righteously and in accordance with His will and purpose.

The goal of the Trinity is not to make us happy, but to be holy. It is through being made holy that we experience true joy and happiness. Thus, the more we receive God's grace, the more we will live in freedom as the Spirit of grace transforms every area of our lives. This is because a life with God frees us from all encumbrances and enables us to come boldly before God without shame, fear or hesitation.
