You have chosen us to serve our God and formed us into a kingdom of priests who reign on the earth.
Revelation 5:10 (TPT)
You must live intentionally for God's Kingdom.
When Christ made you a new creation through His righteousness, you also became a new citizen of His Kingdom. As such, if you want to think and act like a Kingdom citizen, you must first learn to function and operate confidently and comfortably within its culture, values, and paradigm.
Whether you are in your office, on campus, or at home, you are living in the realm of Christ's completed work, and as a result, you have been given authority and power to reign and rule alongside Christ in this present age and in the ages to come.
As kings and priests, our role is to represent God's Kingdom and make it a reality wherever we go. What a privilege and honour! When we choose to prioritise and put God's Kingdom first, everything we do becomes an act of worship to Him. God promises to not only provide for our needs, but also to add to them (Matthew 6:33). Without an authentic friendship and relationship with God, what starts out as a promise from God is often transformed into a formula for the prosperity gospel. Learning to live righteously will allow you to experience God's grace in a variety of miraculous ways.
When we pursue God as He pursues us, He will not withhold anything that can help us overcome a culture of fear and worry. Many people are under stress and pressure from all sides in their pursuit of status symbols and a comfortable standard of living. Despite their achievements, they remain unhappy and unfulfilled.
Jesus tells us that God's economy is not like ours. The more we pursue God, the more deeply we feel His love and the grace of His blessing. The more God blesses us, the greater our ability to faithfully steward His gifts. To be Kingdom minded means to become more like Jesus. When you remain true to your identity and calling in God's Kingdom, you will have the opportunity to influence and impact as many people as possible for Him.
