Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:26-28 (ESV)

God enjoy hearing our prayers because they create opportunities for Him to work His miracles and wonders in our lives. According to the Apostle Paul, we often do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Holy Spirit prays within and through us. When we feel alone and isolated in our struggles, praying may be the last thing we want to do. However, we have the Holy Spirit as our Encourager to help us in our prayers. This kind of assurance makes our praying more powerful and effective.

The Holy Spirit is always interceding for us despite of our prayer life.

When we cannot express how we feel, the Holy Spirit takes our weak groans and cries and translates them into perfect prayers that are in accordance with the Father's good will for us. Thus, there is no such thing as a weak prayer when the Holy Spirit is on our side.

Knowing that we have an excellent prayer partner in the Holy Spirit gives us faith and motivation to keep praying without losing hope. As we pray, the Holy Spirit fills us with the knowledge of God’s will and gives us wisdom and understanding so that we might walk worthy of God.

God accepts our prayers even if they sound like a child fumbling over words rather than a seasoned prayer veteran with a deep journey of faith. So, even if we do not have the right words or they do not come out right, God understands what our prayers are about and will respond to our needs in His perfect way and wisdom. This is why God can work everything for our good and His glory.
