Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.

Ephesians 3:20 (TPT)

God is able to surpass even our highest expectations.

Even during the most trying times, God will not forsake or forget about us. Our circumstances cannot constrain God from working everything for our good and His glory.

If we trust that He has our best interests at heart, then prayer is not trying to get God to do something but to join Him in what He is already doing. Instead of saying, "God, why are you doing this to me?", we should ask God, "God, what are you trying to show me?" In other words, prayer opens our eyes to see something that we did not or could not see before.

Prayer brings you closer to God and deepens your intimacy with Him.

When you truly know and love God, it becomes easy to hear and obey the voice of His Spirit. Once you are ready to fulfil what He wants of you, you will feel the grace and faith inside you to do all that He asks.

If we do experience difficulty in prayer, we need to understand that it is more likely a love problem than a faith problem. It has to do with not believing how much God accepts and loves us. Without this crucial revelation, we won’t have the boldness and wisdom to pray as we ought to or should be able to.

Instead of feeling inadequate about your prayer life, start filling your heart with the reality of God's empowering love. You will then enjoy a fresh start with God. Once you are absolutely certain that God is the source of your greatest joy, you won't have to worry about your prayers going unanswered or not receiving the answer you desire. Knowing how much our Father loves us and desires us the good things we need is more than enough to see you through your darkest times and smile through some of your hardest tears.
