And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.

The COVID pandemic and recent worldwide events have heightened an irrational feeling of fear in end-times prophecy. So much of end times theology and teachings are composed of conspiracy theories and conjectures that lack factual evidence. This led more and more Christians to become preoccupied with doomsday scenarios and world-ending catastrophes than resting on God's Word to see them through these difficult times.

I believe Jesus is coming back for His Bride. But I don't believe in spending time and energy predicting when His return will take place. We need to realise a dogmatic claim of dates and predictions have never worked and will never work. However some just don't know when to quit. They keep churning out new dates and predictions when their previous claims didn't take place.

The Apostle John tells us that we have nothing to fear when we rest ourselves in God's perfect love. We can overcome fear and live victoriously because God will keep us blameless and holy to the end. If there is still fear in you, it is not because of God; rather it is because of what you are feeding your mind with on a daily basis.

The future is not to be feared.

Be circumspect of the time we are in now. However, don't get distracted by what is happening around us but stay strong in faith, no matter the circumstances.

We are to live like Jesus in relation to His trust in God and God's love for Him.

Our Father does not love us less than His beloved Son. As Christ is to the Father, so are we to Him. Imagine how differently you might live each day by simply believing, "God's perfect love expels all fear" and fully expecting the promise of His Word about you is fulfilled by the power of His Word working within you. This gives you the confidence and courage to trust God to bring you through the trials and tribulations of life and guide you out of the trouble that may come your way.
