Jesus said, “I tell you the truth. The Son can do nothing alone. The Son does only what he sees his Father doing. The Son does whatever the Father does.

John 5:19 (ICB)

The kingdom of God advances through ordinary believers who listen to Jesus and do what He says. We all share the same call to make disciples. The process is much simpler than you may think. It is about building relationships and meeting needs through the transforming power of the gospel.

Opportunities are everywhere.

It is simply a matter of opening our eyes and hearts to seeing what God is doing and participating with Him. We must be like Jesus. It is to commit to doing God's will wherever we are and whenever possible. Sometimes we think we are not good enough or qualified enough to serve God. That is pride speaking.

We must learn obedience and trust God to do what He says.

While we are not to be presumptuous, we must be willing to step out in faith and risk failure along the way. The more authentically we live our faith in Christ, the more we draw others to Him. Jesus promised to confirm His gospel with mighty signs and wonders Mark 16:20; Romans 15: 19). If it is just and right to do so, pray boldly, and let God reveal His greatness through you. The best part is that we are not only serving our Father, but we are also serving together with Him, doing everything for the good of others and for His glory.
