And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:14 (ESV)

The Triune God works in and through the Incarnation of Jesus.

The four gospels show that the Son did not act alone. The Father sends the Son to save the world, and the Holy Spirit sustains the Son until He fulfils His mission. God did all of this because He loves the world and wants each of us to enjoy His gift of eternal life of love.

The Incarnation reveals the amazing truth of "God with us."

Jesus is the true image of the invisible God born in human likeness. Both His divine and human attributes were inseparably and uniquely united in His person. Instead of coming to us in His sovereign might, He humbly came to us as a child, and as a servant of God, and as the Saviour of humanity. The good news, however, does not end here. Jesus took our human form so that we could partake in His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). We not only were pardoned of our sins but also transformed into new creations in Him. Thus, it is through His life in us, we become, by grace, what God is by nature.
