Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (TPT)
Some of us are better at worrying than trusting God.
Jesus tells us that worrying is pointless because it does not add more years to our lives. Rather, you must learn to trust God in all situations. Trust God even when things are against you. Trust God even when you do not know where your life is going or what you are supposed to learn along the way. Trust God even when you cannot hear or feel His presence clearly.
To trust God is to put Him first in your life.
Allow God to be your first and last thought in the morning, evening, and in between. Grow intimacy and deepen your friendship with God. This is because obedience becomes simple once you are completely convinced of God's perfect love. Obedience is the fruit of trusting God—you are demonstrating your unwavering faith in God's goodness to keep you on the right path.
When you learn to trust God's leading, He will transform your fear into faith, your weaknesses into strengths, and your battles into blessings. God is practical. He knows your needs and will completely satisfy them through His glorious riches in Christ. Thus, even if you believe God is hearing your prayers, He will give you more than you can imagine or expect.
You can trust God because He knows your future from the start and can take care of you. Continue to believe that He will guide your steps to wholeness and well-being.
What is God saying to me here and what must I do?
