God knows your worth and understands your value. That is the reason why He put you in Christ so that His purpose in you is made perfect by His power working in and through you. You don't need more power as much as you need more revelation of the power God bestowed upon you through His grace. Unless and until you begin to see yourself through the lens of how God sees you and live in that belief, it is difficult for you to experience the abundant life in its fullness.

Consider what the Apostle Paul wrote: 

Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvellous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. 2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.

Romans 12:1-2, The Passion Translation

What Paul is saying here is that we should not think and act like we did before we came to know God. Rather, we are to develop a new pattern of believing and behaving that reflects the reality of the riches of God's acceptance and grace towards us. 

Our Father has already made every provision available for you to enjoy a wonderful friendship and relationship with Him. Having this revelation makes obedience easy and light—because the strength and courage to love and obey God comes from a place of restful trust in His character and ability. This empowers you to let go of old thinking and embrace a new mindset according to God’s rich provision for you in Christ.

Essentially God wants you to perceive your life and things through kingdom insight and perspective so that you can move and function effectively here on earth as we are in heaven. This is why He gives you the Holy Spirit to dwell inside you. The Holy Spirit helps you to think like God thinks as you reflect on God's Word. It is through the process of renewing the mind through the Spirit and the Scripture that you will recognise and experience God's presence and power in every aspect of your life.
