See what great love the Father has for us that He would call us His children. And that is what we are. For this reason, the people of the world do not know who we are because they did not know Him.

1 John 3:1 (NLT)

God is love and He always acts in love towards us.

He created us in His image with such a perfect love that sin cannot diminish our true worth and value in His eyes. If that is the case, then all our knowledge and experiences of Him should leave us in awe and wonder of Him. Worship, then, is no longer bound by a specific day, place, or time, and is probably less so than a half-hearted offering. And because God is everywhere, we can cultivate such a conscious awareness of His presence with us that our worship becomes incredibly intimate and powerful.

Worship makes the reality of being loved by God a close and personal encounter. It not only deepens our relationship with God, but it also empowers us to pursue His will on earth as it is in heaven. Though the rest of the world does not know or believe in God, we know who He is and how much He loves us. God's love fuels our obedience and frees our hands and feet to serve in His kingdom so that the rest of the world can believe (John 17:21).

Nothing can stand in the way of you embracing and receiving God's love. Jesus serves as the connecting point. By becoming one with us in our humanity, He brings us into the holy community of the Trinity, where the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work together as one to transform us into everything God desired and designed us to be in Christ.

We will mirror and repeat the overflowing Triune love in all of our relationships, whether friends or foes, as we continue to grow in our relationship with the Trinity. Because God first loved us, we are able to love others. When the world sees our love for one another, it will realise and recognise that we belong to God and are from God.
